By confirming your participation in the Author Meet & Greet / Book Signing Event organized at Read and Brew, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

  1. Role of Read and Brew
    • Read and Brew will provide the venue, necessary arrangements, and facilitation for the event.
    • Read and Brew will promote the event to its community through its social media handles and other regular channels of communication.
    • Read and Brew’s role is limited to setting up and facilitating the event, including circulation among its community.
  2. Role of Kitabe Club (Optional)
    • Event moderation will be handled by the Kitabe Club team and is offered as a chargeable optional add-on. Authors/Publishers may choose whether or not to opt for this service.
    • If the Author/Publisher opts for moderation, a review copy of the book must be sent to the Kitabe Club team in advance.
    • This review copy requirement is in addition to the moderation charges payable for the service.
    • If the Author/Publisher opts for moderation, Kitabe Club will also promote the event to its community through its social media handles and other regular channels of communication.
  3. Event Attendance
    • While Read and Brew will use its best efforts to create awareness and promote the event, it does not guarantee any minimum number of attendees.
    • Read and Brew will not be held responsible for inadequate footfall or participation during the event.
  4. Booking & Payment
    • A non-refundable token amount is required to secure the event slot at Read and Brew. The balance of the booking amount (including any moderation charges by Kitabe Club, if opted) shall be payable in full at least one day before the scheduled event.
    • The booking amount is strictly non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to cancellation, postponement, or changes by the author/publisher.
  5. Author/Publisher Responsibility
    • The Author/Publisher shall be responsible for supplying their own books, merchandise, and promotional materials for the event, unless otherwise explicitly agreed in writing by Read and Brew.
    • Any additional activities or special requirements must be communicated in advance and approved by Read and Brew.
  6. Liability
    • Read and Brew will not be liable for any loss, damage, or theft of personal property or merchandise brought by the author/publisher.
    • Any damages to the venue caused by the author/publisher or their team will be chargeable.
  7. Force Majeure
    • Read and Brew shall not be held responsible for delays, cancellations, or disruptions caused by events beyond its reasonable control (including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions, or emergencies). In such cases, Read and Brew will make reasonable efforts to discuss and, where feasible, reschedule the event in favour of the Author/Publisher.
  8. Agreement
    • By proceeding with the booking, the author/publisher acknowledges and agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
